Good to know

  • Service is already active, so you don't need your own Starlink account.
  • Wi-Fi covers up to about 112 m² (1,200 sq ft) and connects many devices at once.
  • Draws about 25 to 40 W on average, so it runs from a wall outlet, a portable power station or a vehicle inverter.
  • Needs open sky. Dense trees and canyon walls can interrupt the signal.
  • Built for the mountains: rated for rain, snow and temperatures from -30 °C to 50 °C.

How renting works

Choose your dates and reserve online. We arrange a meet-up or delivery in Calgary. Return the kit at the end of your trip and your $200 deposit is refunded.

Deposit and damage

A refundable $200 deposit is added to your cart with the rental. It is refunded after the kit is returned and checked. Damage or missing parts are deducted from the deposit.

Meet-up, delivery and return

After you book, we text you to arrange a meet-up in Calgary. You can also add delivery to your home or hotel. Return the kit the same way at the end of your rental.

Good to know before you book

  • It needs open sky

    Set the dish where it can see the sky. Dense trees and canyon walls can interrupt the signal.

  • It needs power

    It draws about 25 to 40 W. A wall outlet, a power station or a vehicle inverter will run it.

  • Setup is simple

    Plug it in, wait for it to connect, and join the Wi-Fi. A quick-start card is in the case.
